Twist and Shout . . .

. . .

You might remember this song for Ferris Bueller’s Day Off . . . Somehow these words just bring a smile to my face. Add the antics of a high school aged kid and I’m seventeen again . . . All of us have a little Ferris Bueller lurking just below the surface of our souls . . . I haven’t forgotten, have you?

Do you remember the dreams of your youth? Have you followed those rainbows, have you found that pot of gold that you sought? It’s not too late. It’s not too late to live a life without regret . . . Dare to Dream again, live your Dreams again. Share your dreams again.

All of us at some point fall down . . . Some how life smacks us a powerful blow. We either pick ourselves up or we don’t . . . It’s not a sin against mankind to quit living, to walk away . . . They are our down trodden, our homeless. Any one of us can fall from grace, any one of us can be without and alone, any one of us can find desperation . . . Do we turn away from them or do we embrace them and help them pick up the pieces?

Have you ever looked into their eyes? Have you seen the cold chill of gray? It’s the look devoid of all HOPE . . . And we’re to blame, we turned away . . . Dreams are yours to share, a buck at a time . . .
