What are your Dreams?

Has it become just a word like retirement? What does retirement meant to you? Do you really know?

So many put off living for a day that never comes . . . Oh they retire, but when do they start living?

It doesn’t work that way . . . You can’t turn off life and expect to turn it on again. You have to stop to smell the roses . . . Yep, that’s a cliché. Where on earth do you think they come from? From people just like ourselves, living just like us. And then one day the light flips on or they die . . . But everyone has a moment to contemplate their life . . . Regrets?

Go for that walk you’ve been putting off, shed those few pounds because you want too. Hug the kid, kiss the wife, meet and greet your neighbors. Travel to the ends of earth, treat everyone as though they are your best friends, volunteer at a homeless shelter, live life to its fullest . . . Write letters, stories or that novel, but act as though today is the last day of your life and live with no regrets. Dreams are yours to share.
